Ben Howard is an associate at Woolery & Co.
Prior to joining the firm, he practiced law as an associate in Kirkland & Ellis’ Mergers & Acquisitions practice based in New York. Ben participated in the representation of public and private companies in domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. Ben’s experience also included counsel of public companies with respect to shareholder activism, takeover defense and other corporate governance matters, as well as representation of large and middle market private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in a wide variety of corporate transactions.
Ben represented Eli Lilly and Co. (LLY) in the sale of Baqsimi to Amphastar Pharmaceuticals Inc. (AMPH) for $625 million in June 2023 and Investindustrial SA in its acquisition of a significant portion of the meal preparation business of TreeHouse Foods Inc. (THS) for about $950 million in October 2022.
Ben also has experience as an investment banker, having worked as a technology, media and telecommunications analyst at Rockdale Partners.
